The Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation -AIWC- strives to enrich the lives of Albertans by nurturing a strong appreciation and respect for wildlife. AIWC is a registered charity and non-profit society that has been operating since 1993. We are an accredited vet clinic through the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, specifically dedicated to admitting injured and orphaned wildlife. We are located northwest of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and serve the Calgary region and southern Alberta.
A team of wildlife biologists and technicians manages AIWC and receives critical assistance from 2 volunteer veterinarians and over 100 highly trained volunteers.
