It was politics that led Patrick Lalonde and Eric Sicotte to the fascinating world of marketing and promotion. With their bachelor's degrees in political science and international relations in hand, they began organizing events and political rallies for their parties of choice. They happened to be so good at organizing that soon they were running events for other causes, too.
With a knack for combining the right blend of strategy and fun, and a talent for connecting the right people, each of them rose up the event planning ranks accompanied by rave reviews. Then, in 2010, the pair pooled their talents and launched Apollo Agency, a full-service marketing and communications agency that now has over 100 corporate clients such as Rogers, Fiat, BMO and Bell.
