Meet Alain (he/him), Summer Articling Student, Alberta Providing team members with the tools and support they need to thrive is essential. And this is no different for our summer students. Alain shares his positive experience: “Since being hired last October, I had been looking forward to starting at MNP this summer—and it’s been even better than I imagined. What surprised me the most was how easy it was to integrate into the team. From day one, I was welcomed with warm smiles and open arms. The open-door policy and approachable culture made it easy to ask questions and learn the ropes, no matter how small the inquiry. One piece of advice that’s really stuck with me came from my performance coach: ‘You’re not expected to be perfect right away—everything will make more sense with time.’ That reassurance has helped me stay grounded and motivated as I continue to grow. And with the support I’ve found at MNP, I can’t wait for what lies ahead.” Find your #LifeAtMNP by visiting https://shr.link/qylkm

“The bistro is a great investment in our team members and workplace culture. As we spend more time in the office, the bistro offers a welcoming and relaxed environment where we can reconnect beyond our screens. Whether it’s over a coffee, a quick lunch, or a friendly game of ping pong, it’s a space that encourages conversations, collaboration, and a stronger sense of community. I find this aligns perfectly with MNP’s core value of making time for fun. It’s more than just a place to eat; it’s a space that supports how we connect and thrive together as a team.” − Briya (she/her), Assistant Find your #LifeAtMNP by visiting https://shr.link/qylkm

156 teams (and counting!) are gearing up for The Princess Margaret’s Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer, Fuelled by Longo’s, on September 27. This year, our volunteer Honorary Chair, Michael Storfer, along with the Executive Committee and Captains of Industry, are setting a powerful example rallying their organizations, suppliers, customers, and communities around a shared mission: to help create a world free from the fear of cancer. A huge shout-out to our Presenting Partner, Longo's, and to the unstoppable team at Next Plumbing and Hydronics Supply! They dedicate customer/employee barbecues and team-building events to drive excitement and awareness and they’ve already hit 29 teams. Michael, Carolina and team bring heart, and a genuine spirit of inclusion to everything they do. In Michael’s words, “you can give your treasure, time, or talent.” We all have something to give. Recently, our Grande Prairie Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) committee presented the team with a movement challenge: an office Fun Walk/Run. Team members who accepted the challenge had to train for the event, which included a choice to walk or run 3km, 5km, or 10km. It was a great turn out with each participant finishing at their own pace. “Our commitment to DE&I fosters a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered. Events like these are a testament to MNP's inclusive spirit, bringing us together to celebrate our unique strengths and shared goals.” − Erin (she/her), Coordinator Find your #LifeAtMNP by visiting https://shr.link/qylkm
