The service was really bad. Our server was so rude. We ordered the lobster and crab dip and it tasted like cheese with cream. You could not taste a hint of the lobster and crab at all. The vodka n soda dipped fish n chips tasted ordinary. The tartar sauce was too sour same with the chicken parmigiana. All of these foods were overpriced too. BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, so don't even bother wasting your hard earned cash on this restaurant.
I am biased when it comes to this restaurant, lol. I've been going here for almost 10 years and I don't think I will ever stop.
No matter what time I have visited this location the service has always been great and entertaining, the food (which I only order from 4 things, lol) is always great. The only thing I ever have to send back in the calamari but that's just because I like it extremely crispy so that's not their fault.
I recommend this place to any and everyone. Not all their food is great, but their greek chicken salad, lobster and crab dip, and calamari is just awesome.
Was not expected of Jack Astors. Always thought it was just another bar or if not just another Moxie/Milestone thing. Nothing was open at 1am but this so we went in. What a surprise!!! The place is lively. From the entrance that reads "sorry we're open"; to the comedic shows playing on the tv screens you can never get bored of but laugh away until you cry. The service was outstanding with the waitresses being exceptionally nice and lively mending with and creating the atmosphere as it was already. One example of why pre-conceived notions should not stop you from entering a place.
My friends and I had an amazing time at Jack Astor's Brampton. The staff is fun and friendly and the Bar manager Andrew was making sure the tv's had the right entertainment for the crowd. I love when a restaurant understands who their guests are. We will be back, with MORE friends!
