EVERY TIME WE VISIT GEORGE, NIK AND THE GANG AT 1000 ISLANDS WE HAVE AN AMAZING MEAL AND AN ALL AROUND GREAT NIGHT. THE FOOD IS UNBEATABLE AND WE ALWAYS HAVE GREAT SERVICE. I JUST WANT TO THANK GEORGE (THE OWNER) FOR KEEPING A LONG STANDING TRADITION GOING, YOU HAVE THE BEST PIZZA EVER. WE LOOK FORWARD TO OUR NEXT NIGHT OUT WITH YOU GUYS.
The service was sloppy and impolite. The house wine tasted as though they had diluted a spoiled bottle of red wine with tap water. When we asked to substitute the house wine with a bottle of something from the wine list, I was informed that the waitress didn't have time to do that.
The pizza was fairly good, although we asked for no green peppers and of course, they "must have forgot" in the kitchen...we picked them off.
Our ever helpful waitress spilled coffee on my daughter's lap...and ran away without so much as an apology. All in all...the food is forgettable...but the service is not. The owner was also quite rude when we spoke to him about our experience at the cash.
