Welcome Dimario's Nicky offers the people of Burlington a place where you can feel at home, and enjoy some authentic home cooked style Italian food. Nicky knows it is the simplicity and freshness of the ingredients that will bring a dish together harmoniously in front of your seat.
After reading all the positive reviews on this website, I chose DiMario's for dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.
I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant. We got there for our 8pm reservation, and we didn't get served our drinks until 45 minutes later! There's deliberately slow service so that you can enjoy your company and the ambiance of the restaurant, and then there's slow service because the wait staff can't be bothered with you! Nobody even ever came to check and see if our food was ok once we were finally service. And, another table of two that came in 15 minutes after us got served before us.
The food was ok, but I felt like we were a bother, and in the way. We were even asked to move our table so that they could bring out another table to place beside ours! We were practically sitting at the table next to us by the time we were moved so far over!
This place is cute, and the food is ok, but I will never be back due to poor service, and the high prices for what you get.
Salad with goat cheese and red pepper was very good. Our mains were edible but the fish was overcooked (mahi mahi and mussels). The linquini was swimming in a pool of tasteless cloudy liquid. The mahi mahi special came with vegetables that were grilled raw without any oil - in fact they were served hard!
