They served us a slice of moldy cake and try to pretend that the mold was part of the cake. It was a dim setting, so we asked that the cake be checked under the light, and then they admitted it was mold. No apology, and even asked us to pay for the slice of cake...
Everything was okay, but the manager was a bully. Tried to tell us what to eat, almost shouting out what we had to eat. No chance for the 'paying customer' to choose. It was do as I say. Really left a baad taste in my mouth. He needs some lessons in being polite and showing restpect to his cutomers. Will not go back. Maybe that's why the place was 1/2 empty on Saturday before Valentine's and Chinese New Year.
I was there a couple of times and really enjoyed the fresh and tasty food. Always pretty crowded so waiters are a bit busy... Will definately go there again.
They got really good deal at lunch, for $6.99 u get some combo plates ranging from Thai, Viet, Malay, etc. And technically everything in the menu comes with a drink, so its like a combo anyways.
Food is great, and large portion. Highly recommended~
I took some colleagues to Lemongrass this week and we were incredibly impressed with the food, the service and the setting. Every dish, from the the cold shrimp spring rolls to the lamb and pork dishes were perfectly cooked, attractively served and delicious. One colleague is very familiar with Vietnamese/Thai cuisine and this was a first for the other colleague. Both are anxious to return to Lemongrass on Silver Star and we all send our compliments to the chef and staff.
