This is the bast restaurant i have ever been to.I travel lot's of time for my business,So believe me i have been in many places around the world.
Beef medallion was very good however when we found out it was 30.00 + when the bill came it was quite a surprise. In my salad I found the very large dark root base of the lettuce , the croutons were very ordinary, little or no garlic, and no mushrooms or bacon bits. Parmesan minimal. I expected to have a better salad at an Italian restaurant. The fettucini was hot and fresh. The chicken breast was minimal though and amounted to about a third of a breast. Only 2 mushrooms - mostly pasta. Disappointing at 16.00 I have enjoyed past meals here over the years but I'm afraid at the high price of 84.00 before tip for what we received I will not be returning. Sadly, the service was not what we had received in the past either.
We have been going to this restaurant for years and have never had anything other than a wonderful experience- the owners and the service make you feel like family and we are often given complimentary port to finish a lovely meal at the end (especially when we are alone without the kids). The antipasto appie with the grilled shrimp and calamari is a must with a big red wine and the fish specials are always creative, fresh and delicious. the pasta dishes are always great and so is the veal. We have been for special occaisopns, romantic evenings for 2 and just for a great evening out for the live entertainment on weeknds. We will always keep coming back. The bread with the oils and hummus at the start of the meal is also such a welcome treat!!
This has been a favourite place for me for years. Great menu selection and wonderful atmoshphere.
Food and service were very good. Look forward to returning.
