Mandarin invites you to their restaurant. Come enjoy their casual ambiance. They graciously provide a buffet option. You can get there not only by public transit and bicycle but also by car. They are in a lively area known for its nightlife and its history.
This an all round good restaurant,I do have a concern though with not just this place but with all self serve buffet style restaurants, Everyone handling the spoons/forks/thongs can spread some serious germs from person to person, new serving utensils are definately needed and changed frequently to stop the possibility.
I was not impressed with the food at all, there...
I was not impressed with the food at all, there was way to much American food not enough Asian. A lot of the foods I ate was ether over cooked or lacked flavor. Some of the food had that out of the freezer reheat taste. I love chicken balls but not from this place they were under cooked with raw dough in side and the chicken was dried out. I enjoyed the fresh grill the first trip but on my third trip up I grabbed some more chicken and beef but they were both burned. They also did not have some of the Asian dishes I'm use to seeing clearly the result of having to make room for all that American food. For the price I expected much better food. The service was good but not great but maybe the result of the time we went just after Christmas. The place was cramped the tables are too close together had to move my seat my time times to let people pass. I will never return, there are other Asian buffets that are cheaper and have almost the same selection.
