In this former client's opinion, Trapeze provides a ride on a roulette wheel and not asset management.
During the 2008 meltdown, Mr. Abramson dismissed the downturn and kept his investors fully exposed to a free-falling portfolio that saw many of them loose 50-90% of their managed assets.
He later admitted breaching Ontario Securities Commission regulations to protect his license, but denied it to clients seeking settlement to protect his fortune.
A catastrophic experience for many.
